The Florida Class "G" License course is a 28-hour statewide firearms training program regulated by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). This license is a companion to the Class "D" (unarmed security) or Class "C" (private investigator) license and is required for any of these professionals who will be armed while on duty.
The course covers firearms safety, operational mechanics, marksmanship fundamentals, and the legal aspects of using a firearm in a professional capacity.
